NHS treatment bands.

NHS dental treatment is divided into three standard charge bands, depending on the treatment you require.

Band 1 £27.90

Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. When clinically necessary, this may also include X-rays, a scale and polish and planning for further treatment.

Band 2 £76.60

Covers everything included in Band 1, plus treatments such as fillings, root canal treatment and tooth extractions.

Band 3 £332.10

Covers everything included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex treatments such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
